Basketball Game Preview: Immanuel Christian Warriors vs. Trinity at Meadow View Tempest

The Immanuel Christian Warriors will take on the Trinity at Meadow View Tempest at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Immanuel Christian is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Immanuel Christian lost 67-45 to Randolph-Macon Academy on January 10th. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 108th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity at Meadow View). They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Park View 59-56. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tempest as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Trinity at Meadow View, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Immanuel Christian came up short against Trinity at Meadow View in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 45-38. Can Immanuel Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
