Volleyball Recap: Austin Starts Season with Victory at Home

Austin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vista Ridge Rangers. The Maroons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rangers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austin will challenge Liberty Hill at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Vista Ridge, they will square off against Cedar Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
