While Mountain Empire's  victory against Victory Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Redhawks had just enough and edged out the Knights  16-15. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  win against them.
 Briana Ynez made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and 13 unearned) runs off   three  hits. Ynez was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with ten  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Valerie Machado was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with six  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple.  Aracely Millan was another key player,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with eight  stolen bases and one  run.
 Mountain Empire  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 11  hits in three consecutive  games.
Mountain Empire's record now sits at 8-2. As for Victory Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
 Mountain Empire wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  29-8  victory against Vincent Memorial on the 15th. Victory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
