Volleyball Game Preview: Plainview Bulldogs vs. Caprock Longhorns

The Plainview Bulldogs will challenge the Caprock Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Plainview lost 3-0 to Coronado on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

While Plainview was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Caprock didn't have quite enough to beat Coronado on Friday and fell 3-2.

Caprock took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Caprock, their loss dropped their record down to 8-19.

Plainview beat Caprock 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Longhorns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
