SouthLake Christian Academy's game two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles a 15-0 shutout.
Ava Sherard made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Sherard was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
