Basketball Preview: Seaforth Hawks vs. Southeast Alamance Stallions        
        
		
            Seaforth is on a 22-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Southeast Alamance is on a eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Seaforth Hawks will host the Southeast Alamance Stallions  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, Seaforth took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  49-10 victory over North Moore. The  team ran away with 40  points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the  win.

Seaforth had a senior duo take command as  Gabrielle White  posted 12 points and six  boards and  Peyton Collins  put up 11  points and seven  steals. Collins is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last six games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Katherine Leonard, who  scored eight points.
 Seaforth  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 17  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Southeast Alamance over Reidsville in every quarter on their way to victory  on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Southeast Alamance blew Reidsville out of the water with  a  61-14 final score. With the Stallions ahead  44-5 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
 Southeast Alamance's win came from a few key players Seaforth will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Rreanna Johnson, who  earned 17  points and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shaniya Paylor, who  had 12 points and five  steals.
 Seaforth's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Southeast Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.
 Seaforth came out on top in a nail-biter against Southeast Alamance when the teams last played  back in January, sneaking past  51-48. Does  Seaforth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeast Alamance turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
