Baseball Game Preview: Linfield Christian Lions vs. San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves

The Linfield Christian Lions will take on the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves in a tournament on Tuesday. San Jacinto Valley Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Linfield Christian, who comes in off a win.

Linfield Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Bloomington 3-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Linfield Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kai Carson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Linfield Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bloomington struck out ten times.

Meanwhile, San Jacinto Valley Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Heritage on Saturday and fell 2-1.

San Jacinto Valley Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Linfield Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Linfield Christian took their victory against San Jacinto Valley Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 16-1. Will Linfield Christian repeat their success, or does San Jacinto Valley Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
