Volleyball Game Preview: East Lincoln Mustangs vs. Mountain Island Charter Raptors

The East Lincoln Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Mountain Island Charter Raptors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Lincoln will be strutting in after a win while Mountain Island Charter will be coming in after a loss.

East Lincoln was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They skirted past Community School of Davidson 3-2.

Meanwhile, Mountain Island Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Lincoln Charter.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-17.

Mountain Island Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for East Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went East Lincoln's way against Mountain Island Charter when the teams last played back in March, as East Lincoln made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
