Basketball Recap: Eno River Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Eno River Academy had lost six straight headed into Wednesday's match, but Cole Creedle didn't let it get to seven. The Eno River Academy Bobcats snuck past the Triangle Math & Science Tigers with a 56-50 win on Wednesday thanks in part to Creedle, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times he's played.

Jack Kroothoep was another key player, putting up five points and five steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Triangle Math & Science's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jailen Hawkins, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tahlil Farah, who posted 12 points.

Eno River Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-9. As for Triangle Math & Science, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.
