Soccer Recap: Danville's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Danville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Roncalli Royals by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Danville were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three matchups prior), but Roncalli's defense proved too tough.

Danville's goal came courtesy of Madisyn Valenti, who's now up to 13 this season.
