Softball Recap: Trimble County Takes a Loss

Trimble County was the 10-8 winner over Sacred Heart when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Valkyries by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday.

Jocie Stucker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelyn Holbrook, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Trimble County's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Sacred Heart, their record is now 8-11.

Looking ahead, Trimble County will take on Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sacred Heart, they will square off against Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
