Basketball Recap: Bosqueville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Bosqueville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Rio Vista Eagles by a score of 52-42 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Rio Vista lost, don't look at Dawson Macklin. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 14 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Macklin a new career-high. Kaiden Scott was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Bosqueville's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Rio Vista, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Bosqueville will take on Valley Mills at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bosqueville is facing Valley Mills at the right time seeing as Valley Mills is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Rio Vista, they will square off against Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crawford will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Rio Vista surely won't give up without a fight.
