Volleyball Recap: Big Walnut's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Big Walnut, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They won by a set and slipped past the Westerville South Wildcats 3-2.

Big Walnut was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 14-25, 25-23, 16-14.

Tyler Young was the offensive standout of the match as he had 14 digs. Cameron Parry was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

Big Walnut's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-2. As for Westerville South, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Big Walnut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Worthington Kilbourne on the 3rd. As for Westerville South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Dublin Scioto on the 3rd.
