Simon Kenton is 7-2 against Conner since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Pioneers are taking a road trip to  challenge the Cougars  at 5:30  p.m. Simon Kenton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Conner's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

  Kayla Ortiz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. She also  brought in two  RBI, marking her first of the season.  Alexa Hamilton was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Conner's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Simon Kenton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
 Everything went Simon Kenton's way against Conner when the teams last played  back in March, as Simon Kenton made off with  a  16-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
