The Boulder City Eagles will square off against the Spring Valley Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Boulder City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Boulder City was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Moapa Valley 9-8. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Colten Lewis was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gauge Rhodes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Boulder City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Spring Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Sierra Vista on Wednesday, taking the game 6-1.

The win got Spring Valley back to even at 2-2-1. As for Boulder City, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
