Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Bradford Red Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Trinity Christian Academy Lions will jump right back in to play the Bradford Red Devils at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Trinity Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Kenwood 67-38. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Tori Robinson, who went 10 for 20 on her way to 25 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Grace Cleek, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 10 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Trinity Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Bradford came into Monday's game having lost 30 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Fulton City 44-26 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Red Devils' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 297th in Tennessee, while the Bulldogs are ranked 147th in Kentucky).

Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Bradford, their victory ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4.
