Volleyball Recap: Grant County's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Grant County was the 2-0 winner over Calvary Christian when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grant County fell to 4-1. As for Calvary Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Calvary Christian will face off against Bracken County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Grant County will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' matchup: after the Cougars face off against the Polar Bears, they'll take on Grant County again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
