Mollyann Runyon, Northwest's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Monday. Runyon got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played.

Coming up, Runyon and Northwest will face off against South Gallia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Runyon's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Mohawks' eight-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Runyon and the Mohawks surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
