Basketball Recap: Cedar Shoals Takes a Loss

Cedar Shoals had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 50-46 to the Habersham Central Raiders. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Shoals will host Jackson County at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Habersham Central, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Athens Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
