Mater Dei entered their tilt with Macomb on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Bombers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mater Dei's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauren Jamruk led the charge by getting seven digs and one assist. That's the most digs Jamruk has posted over her last six matches. Kylee Eversgerd also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Macomb's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Emily Westerhold, who had 12 digs, and Jordyn Shoopman, who had four digs.

Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Macomb, their loss dropped their record down to 20-14.

Mater Dei has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Teresa on the 25th. Macomb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
