Soccer Recap: Hutchison Takes a Loss

Hutchison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monroe Catholic Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hutchison of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Dylan Skaggs, who's now up to two this season.

Hutchison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Monroe Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

While Hutchison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
