Volleyball Recap: Forest Hills Takes a Loss

Forest Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bowne Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Forest Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bowne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Forest Hills will square off against rival Grover Cleveland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bowne is set to face off against their familiar foe Long Island City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
