Friday just wasn't the day for Harlan's offense. They were dealt a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Phelps Hornets on Friday. The Green Dragons' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Phelps, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlan will venture away from home to square off against Berea at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Phelps, they will challenge Knott County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Hornets' offense will have their work cut out for them.
