Softball Recap: Harker Comes Up Short

Harker fell victim to Prospect and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harker has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Prospect, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Harker will challenge Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.3 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Prospect, they will face off against Pioneer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
