Softball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham fell victim to Cheverus and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Stags, falling 10-0. That makes it the first time this season the Eagles have let down their home crowd.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Cheverus, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Windham will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westbrook at 4:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Cheverus, they will head out to take on Massabesic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
