Soccer Recap: Dunlap Plays to a Tie

Dunlap's tournament run continued when they took on Evanston on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Bret Hansen hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Louis Trililkis and Jackson Orris scored both of Dunlap's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Dunlap's draw gives them a new season record of 10-2-2. Meanwhile, Evanston's record is now 2-7-3.

Coming up, Dunlap will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Washington at 6:30 p.m. Washington's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Dunlap's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Evanston, they are taking a road trip to take on Glenbrook North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
