Volleyball Recap: Framingham Comes Up Short

Framingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Needham Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flyers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.

Needham can attribute much of their success to Lillian Soulia, who had seven aces. Those seven aces gave Soulia a new career-high. Raleigh Dellamarggio also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Framingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Needham, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coming up, Framingham will challenge Newton North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Needham, they will host Milton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
