Softball Recap: Durango Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valley on Monday, Durango came back down to earth. The Trailblazers came up short against the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions on Wednesday, falling 13-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-5 back in March.

Durango saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexia Carey, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Durango's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Sierra Vista, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Durango does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra Vista, they will challenge Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Mountain Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
