Volleyball Recap: St. George's Starts Season with Victory on the Road

St. George had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers. For the Athletes, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Cavaliers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

St. George's had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-13, 31-29, 25-17.

Looking ahead, St. George's will venture away from home to face off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for CrossPointe Christian Academy, they will host Lafayette Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
