Baseball Recap: Beaver Dam Comes Up Short

Beaver Dam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the GV Christian Guardians, falling 13-2. That's two games in a row now that the Diamondback have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Beaver Dam saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tino Zapata, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Daniel Alonso-Ceja was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.

Beaver Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for GV Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Beaver Dam will take on Spring Mountain at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for GV Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Beaver Dam at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
