Southeast Lauderdale had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Magee Trojans a 10-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Tigers have won 15 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Southeast Lauderdale, bringing their record up to 28-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Magee, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.
