Basketball Recap: Wallowa Sets Scoring Season-High Against Pine Eagle

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wallowa). They strolled past the Pine Eagle Spartans with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 61-46. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Wallowa is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-15 record this season. As for Pine Eagle, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Wallowa will take on Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Eagle, they will challenge Union at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Pine Eagle surely won't give up without a fight.
