Recap: Ocosta Wildcats vs. Non Varsity Opponent
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Ocosta Wildcats ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They blew past Non Varsity Opponent 52-19 at home. That 33 points margin sets a new team best for Ocosta this season.
Ocosta found their leader in underclassman Anna Davis, who dropped a triple-double on 32 points, 18 rebounds, and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Brynn Rasmus was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five steals.
Ocosta has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 93-159.
Ocosta will be playing in front of their home fans against Ilwaco at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ilwaco has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Non Varsity Opponent's road trip will continue as they head out to face Compass Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
