Baseball Recap: Kerr-Vance Academy Takes a Loss

Kerr-Vance Academy lost against Oxford Prep back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans came up short against the Griffins, falling 10-4. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kerr-Vance Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Oxford Prep, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Coming up, Kerr-Vance Academy will face off against Vance County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans are facing the Vipers at the right time seeing as the Vipers are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Oxford Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against American Leadership Academy-Johnston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Patriots have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
