Basketball Game Preview: Jackson County Blue Devils vs. Liberty Creek Wolves

The Jackson County Blue Devils will take on the Liberty Creek Wolves in a tournament on Thursday. Jackson County will be looking to extend their current 17-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Jackson County was able to grind out a solid victory over Westmoreland, taking the game 42-33. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Eagles are ranked 258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Liberty Creek had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 50-33.

Jackson County's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Liberty Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 25-7.
