Baseball Recap: Mesick Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lake City on Wednesday, Mesick came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Bear Lake Lakers on Saturday, falling 14-4. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Mesick saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Osborne, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Issac Stroh also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mesick now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Bear Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Mesick nor Bear Lake have any future games scheduled.
