Basketball Recap: Neuse Christian Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Cristo Rey Research Triangle

Neuse Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Neuse Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Dehavion Washington, who posted nine points.

The win got Cristo Rey Research Triangle back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Neuse Christian Academy will face off against Southside Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, they will take on Durham School of the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
