Basketball Recap: Malden Comes Up Short

Malden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pemiscot Bulldogs. The Green Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Malden's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Pemiscot, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

While Malden had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
