Basketball Recap: James Madison Comes Up Short

James Madison lost against Chantilly back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The James Madison Warhawks took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chantilly Chargers. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Madison's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Chantilly, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

James Madison and Chantilly should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. James Madison will take on South Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 131 places (71 vs. 202). Similarly, Chantilly (ranked 35th) will meet Westfield (ranked 183rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
