Football Recap: Calvert Comes Up Short on the Road Against Methodist Children's Home

Calvert had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 50-0 loss at the hands of the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs on Saturday. The Trojans lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 56-33 score last time.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvert will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Burkeville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Methodist Children's Home, they will face off against Coolidge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
