After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Lincoln, Morse was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They blew past the Kearny Komets 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Komets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.
 Morse was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14,  25-20.
 Morse's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Miguel Cobian, who  had seven  blocks and six  kills. Cobian is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as he's  now  had six or more in each of the last four games he's  played.  Jacob Frijas was another key player,  getting seven  digs and three  aces.
Morse's victory bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Kearny,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-20.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Morse will  square off against  rival Patrick Henry  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Kearny is set to  take on  their familiar foe San Diego  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
