After only two runs in their last contest, Daniel Boone made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lakeway Christian Academy on Friday. The Trailblazers blew past the Lions 14-7. The Trailblazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Jacob Carr looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Daniel Boone got a massive performance out of Clay Rowland, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 5-for-5. Those five hits gave Rowland a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Gore, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Daniel Boone always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakeway Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .355.

Daniel Boone has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-6.

Daniel Boone didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against South-Doyle on the 4th. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Maryville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
