Jack Britt dropped down to 7-2 on Saturday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They lost 55-30 to the Harding University Rams. The game marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Jack Britt saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Derek Mitchell posted ten points.

As for Harding University, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games.

Leading Harding University to victory were Kingston Henry and Dante Caviness. Henry went 11-for-18 en route to 24 points, while Caviness dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten assists. Henry is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jarrel Evans was another key player, putting up two points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Looking ahead, Jack Britt will be taking part in a tournament against Terry Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers' defense better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 62 points per game this season. As for Harding University, they will be home for the holidays to greet Cox Mill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
