Basketball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville's tournament run continued when they took on Athens on Saturday. The Greenville Lions fell to the Athens Hornets 48-42.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Athens, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Greenville will take on Denison at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Denison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Greenville likes a good challenge. As for Athens, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-64 win against Ennis on the 28th.
