Baseball Recap: Pike Central Chargers vs. Northeast Dubois Jeeps
Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Dubois Jeeps. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Pike Central of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Pike Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Meece, who went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
Pike Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Northeast Dubois, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
