Basketball Game Preview: Mattawan Wildcats vs. Gull Lake Blue Devils

The Mattawan Wildcats will face off against the Gull Lake Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Mattawan came up short against Norrix and fell 45-35. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Gull Lake's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The matchup between them and Lakeview didn't end well, with Gull Lake falling 45-29.

Gull Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mattawan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Mattawan barely slipped by Gull Lake in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 40-39. Will Mattawan repeat their success, or does Gull Lake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
