Soccer Recap: Imlay City Comes Up Short

Imlay City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Croswell-Lexington this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in April.

Imlay City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Croswell-Lexington, they moved to 2-6-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Imlay City will head out on the road to square off against Byron at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Croswell-Lexington, they will be playing at home against Richmond at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
