Basketball Recap: Barry Western Comes Up Short

Barry Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the South County Vipers, falling 59-32. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 64-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Barry Western's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Barry Western and Camp Point Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for South County, they will square off against Carrollton at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
