Volleyball Game Preview: Dugway Mustangs vs. Salt Lake Academy Griffins

The Dugway Mustangs will head out to face off against the Salt Lake Academy Griffins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dugway lost 3-0 to Vanguard Academy on Tuesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Dugway was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Vanguard Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

Salt Lake Academy not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Vanguard Academy.

Salt Lake Academy was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-13.

Dugway now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Salt Lake Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Dugway couldn't quite get it done against Salt Lake Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Dugway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
