Baseball Recap: Millersport Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Millersport's offense. They came up short against the Grove City Christian Eagles on Thursday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Lakers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Millersport's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Grove City Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millersport will host Miller at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Grove City Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Harvest Prep at 5:15 p.m. The Eagles are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
